China's refineries snap up Russian oil
Oil refineries in China have stepped up their purchases of Russian flagship crude oil, taking the opportunity to take over the cargoes given up by India at reduced prices.

Although China is the largest importer of Russian oil, it mainly receives supplies from the Far East. In August, however, deliveries of Urals oil, which comes from ports in the Baltic and Black Seas, totalled almost 75,000 barrels per day.
