E-Control: Mandatory gas labelling
The annual review of electricity and gas labelling by the regulatory authority E-Control has once again resulted in a high proportion of renewable energy sources in electricity labelling for the 2023 labelling period.

Mandatory gas labelling is entering its second round. According to E-Control, this figure rose from 82.93% in the previous year to 84.73%. The share of fossil fuels is 15.22% and other primary energy sources, which are also categorised as fossil fuels, is 0.05%. Renewable energy sources are divided into 61.65% hydropower and 12.15% wind energy.…
