Breaking news: EU considers earlier import ban on Russian LNG
Russian LNG gas may be banned in the EU from 27!

According to insiders, the EU is planning an import ban on Russian LNG from 1 January 2027, one year earlier than previously planned. The proposal is part of the 19th sanctions package and is to be presented by the Commission today. Initial press reports speak of a wait-and-see market reaction - gas prices remain stable.
